Grab bars can be installed anywhere in the bathroom that suits your needs. We have installed hundreds of grab bars through the years and are always happy to make mounting suggestions.

We highly recommend having at least 2 grab bars available in the tub area.
One bar mounted vertically near the entryway of the tub. Mounting the bar vertically is advantageous in this location as they are easier to use for people who suffer from arthritis, or have a weakened grip.
Another longer bar mounted diagonally along the long side of the tub. The angled bar provides a solid grip in a high and low position for use while sitting or standing in the tub. The angle also presents a more natural wrist grip angle.
